Terms of service

These terms cover your use of this website and any enquiry submitted through it. They are not the merchant agreement. Once an account is approved, a separate merchant agreement between you, the acquiring bank and Silver Lines Payments governs the processing relationship, and that document takes precedence over anything set out here.

1. Who we are

Silver Lines Payments provides payment processing and merchant services. We are not a bank and we do not hold merchant funds. Merchant accounts are issued by sponsoring acquiring banks, settlement is performed by those banks, and every account is subject to their underwriting decision.

2. Pricing shown on this website

Any pricing described on this website is indicative. It is not an offer. Your actual rates depend on average ticket size, monthly volume, card mix, processing history and the acquirer that approves the account, and become binding only when set out in a signed merchant agreement.

3. Enquiries and applications

Submitting the consultation form does not create an account or guarantee approval. You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to submit it on behalf of the business named. Providing false information in an application is grounds for declining or terminating an account.

4. Acceptable use

We provide services to lawful businesses operating within the card scheme rules and applicable law. We reserve the right to decline any application, and we are not obliged to give a reason.

5. This website

Content on this site is provided for general information. We keep it current but do not warrant that it is complete or free of error, and card scheme rules referenced here change from time to time. Nothing on this site constitutes legal, tax, accounting or compliance advice.

6. Availability and liability

We aim to keep this website available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of this website is limited to the amount you have paid us in connection with it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

7. Intellectual property

The Silver Lines name, logo and the content of this website belong to us. Card scheme names and third-party platform names are trademarks of their respective owners, referenced for identification only, and their use here does not imply any endorsement or partnership.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the one that applies, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, and the courts of that state have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
